Usher Board

• This is our front line ministry; they are the first person that a visitor will meet and as we know that first impression is very important and could determine if that visitor will ever return to our church.  They are responsible to great and assist/guide our guest to their seats.  They are also the ones who must be prayerful and watchful of the service at all times, to keep order, to assist pastor and staff ministers, and the congregation.  They serve during service at home and when we go out as a church body, funerals, and as host and hostesses of our church.  They show the love of God in everything they do; a hello, handshake, and a hug.  God’s love should transmit from all of these acts.  They keep the sanctuary neat after and between services by going from pew to pew picking up programs and large pieces of paper.  They assist our visitors with information and encourage them to come back for our services.
